ABOUT

Resource Factor provides freelance social enterprise support in the East Midlands. It's social purpose is to motivate communities to identify, start-up and develop exciting entrepreneurial and transformational ventures that address a social need.

Our four key drivers that underpin this purpose:

  • Democratic processes

  • Community ownership and empowerment

  • Providing a wanted and needed community service/project

  • Lasting legacy through building capability and capacity of others

With an experienced team who work to high standards, we are valued by our client groups for providing a personal and supportive approach to help incubate ideas and transform these into action that matters.

Resource Factor is a Community Interest Company with an asset lock that ensures the assets (including any surplus made) are used for the benefit of the community and not for private gain. The communities in which we deliver activities will benefit by:

  • being empowered to serve their own community through offering people-centred products and services.

  • being supported to harness the movement of community ownership and democratic communities.

  • the creation of paid and volunteer jobs for local people.
